Completed Dangerous Goods Notes MUST be faxed to our Customer Service Centre on +44 (0) 844 847 9001 at least 12 hours before.

Certain hazardous cargo cannot ship on passenger vessels, or alternatively the hazardous cargo carried restricts the number of passengers that are allowed to be carried on the Ferry. In these instances, your choice of routes is restricted to Freight Only ferries (12 paying passengers or less) or sailings where passenger numbers are very limited.

In all cases when a vehicle is carrying Hazardous Freight, the vehicle must display the relevent warning triangles to highlight the classification of the hazardous cargo carried. These must be displayed on both sides and rear of the vehicle and must conform to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG). The hazardous labels must be 250mm X 250mm (diamonds) stating the class of hazard both in pictoral and numerical formats.
