Seafrance in administration
On Wednesday 30th June, a French court put Seafrance into administration. SNFC have pledged to prop up the company until 15th September, but a plan to recover the hemmorraging company has to be put in place as a matter of urgency.
Seafrance are going to have to work flat out with staff and union officials to make good the cost cuts. Last months plans were to reduce staffing number by over 725, over 40% of the work force.
