Changes on the North Sea


Following the merger between DFDS and Norfolkline, Stena Line have announced that they will take up space on the Harwich - Esbjerg and Immingham - Esbjerg sailings.

 

The services, which were previously operated as a joint service between DFDS and Norfolkline, were required to have a new operator on the routes as part of the Competition Commissions agreement over the DFDS/Norfolkline deal.

 

This means that from the start of September 2010 Stena Line will share these routes with DFDS. The new routes mean that Stena Line will have a total of 19 routes to and from Scandinavia, mainland Europe, Britain and Ireland.
