DFDS announce Heysham & Birkenhead Dublin route closure


 
DFDS have announced closure of Heysham - Dublin (1 ship) and Birkenhead - Dublin (2 ships) routes. The routes will close at the end of January, and the ships will be redeployed.
 
Last month (Dec 2010) DFDS announcing the sale of Heysham - Belfast and Birkenhead - Belfast routes to Stenaline. This decision is subject to OFT approval.
