Third new Stena Line ship to enter service
Following the deployment of the brand new Stena Hollandica and Stena Brittanica on the Harwich - Hoek route in late 2010 the third of Stena Line's new North Sea ships will arrive next week. The Stena Transporter will enter service on the Killingholme - Hoek route on Tuesday 1st March.
The first sailing of this new vessel will be the 21:00 sailing from the Hoek - Killingholme on Tuesday. The arrival of the new ship also means that the departures from Holland which have been running on an alternating schedule will now be fixed.
The schedule will be:
Depart Killingholme daily 20:30 hours, arriving 09:00
Depart Hoek van Holland 21:00 hours Monday - Friday and 20:30 hours Saturday and Sunday, arrinving in Killingholme at 06:45
The fourth and final Stena new build vessel, the Stena Transit, will enter service on the Killingholme - Hoek route in November 2011.
