Brittany Ferries launches new links with Spain


The new services,will be operated using Brittany Ferries newly acquired 33,0000 tonne ferry "Cap Finistere". The ship will operate two round trip sailings between Portsmouth and Santander a week and three between Cherbourg and Portsmouth. The "Cap Finistere" can carry a totoal of 100 lorries, but will initially carry around 60.  Brittany Ferries said the new service would help hauliers avoid the weekend driving ban in France.
