P&O to close UK-Spain link


P&O are to axe their service between Portsmouth, UK and Bilbao, Spain at the end of September 2010 due to continued losses on the route. P&O charter the the ship "Pride of Bilbao" and she will be returned to her owners when the route closes. Brittany Ferries are to increase their sailings to Spain from Portsmouth, UK from one to three sailings per week from January 2010.
