LD Lines & Trans Europa deal


LD Lines and Trans Europa have done a deal to develop the Ramsgate - Ostend route.

Starting between 15th & 30th March 2010, LD Lines Norman Spirit currently operating between Dover - Boulogne, will transfer to the Ramsgate - Ostend route.  LD Lines will then include the new network within its passenger service. However, the freight operation will be left to Trans Europa to develop.
LD Lines will replace the Norman Spirit with the Brave Merchant. The Brave Merchant built 1999 with 2000 loading metres and has an excellent track record for catering with passengers and freight. This will be a welcome addition to LD Lines, one which will allow LD Lines to expand on Dover – Boulogne route.
