Stena Announces New Port Investment

Stena Line have today announced a £200m investment in a new ferry port. The new facility will be constructed at Loch Ryan in Scotland, two miles north of Cairnryan to accomodate a mixture of freight and passenger traffic.

The investment will also include two large new modern ferries.

Construction at Loch Ryan Port is expected to take around 20 months, and when completed the facility will enable vessels to be turned round in half the time increasing the service levels on the route.
