Portsmouth - Cherbourg new service

Monday 22nd March 2010 will see the reintroduction of a Portsmouth to Cherbourg ferry service operated by Brittany Ferries. With 3 departures a week in each direction this will increase freight capacity on Western Channel sailings.

The sailings will be operated by the Cap Finistere, which has capacity for around 60 freight vehicles as well as excellent on board facilities including a swimming pool and bar.

Departure times on this route will be as follows:

From Portsmouth:

11.15 (arr 17:15) Mondays

16.45 (arr 22:15) Thursdays and Sundays

From Cherbourg

23:45 (arr 08:45 next day) Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays
