LD Lines
LD Lines is part of the Louis Dreyfus Amateurs Group who has been players in the maritime industry since 1890.
In 2007 LD Lines took over the ferry operator Transmanche Ferries. LD Lines now operates a network of Ro-Pax ferries (capable of carrying passengers and freight) across 3 routes between France and the U.K as well as France and Ireland.
LD Lines recently announced that from the 5th September 2010, they will no longer be offering the passenger ferry service between Dover and Boulogne, and are considering the future of the freight service on this route. From this time, though they are entering into partnership with Grimaldi Lines to operate the new “Motorway of the Seas” link between Saint Nazaire in France and Gijon in Spain.
LD Lines vessels provide passengers with a range of facilities including restaurants, shops, bars and private cabins.

Routes
LD Lines operates the following routes. The vast majority of routes in the Freight Link system can be booked and paid for online without opening an account. For contractual reasons, a small number do require that you open an account with us first. There are other benefits to opening an account with Freight Link; we make regular offers available to our existing account holders and we can offer up to 30 days credit, so you can buy now and pay later.
