Finnlines
Finnlines history dates back to 1947 when the company operated freight services from Finland into Europe and then United States of America on steamer vessels. In 1972 the company started taking passengers between Germany and Finland. Now Finnlines operate services to Finland, Russia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and Spain. In 2008 the company turned over €735 million.
In addition to the extensive freight ferry services where passenger spaces are limited, Finn lines operate 3 Ro-Pax (ferries capable of carrying freight and passengers) vessels. Facilities onboard the Ro-Pax vessels are second to none, including saunas, gyms and even jacuzzi’s. However, freight ferry drivers can enjoy relaxing and comfortable services on Finnlines freight ferry services.
