LD Lines

LD Lines is a division of the large Louis Dreyfus Armateurs group who’s involvement with the maritime industries dates back to 1890.

LD Lines took over the ferry services of Transmanch ferries in 2007. The Transmanche network complimented the LD Lines service perfectly. Today LD Lines operates a network of Ro-Pax vessels (ferries capable of carrying freight and passengers) across 3 routes between the United Kingdom and France and a weekly trip between France and Ireland. In March 2010, LD Lines will introduce the Merchant Brave to replace the MV Côte d’Albâtre on the Dover - Bolougne route. The Merchant Brave has a proved track record. With 2000 loading metres this vessel will siginicantly increase freight capacity on this growing route.
