Red Funnel

Red funnel maritime history dates back to the 1820’s when steamers operated from Brighton, Torquay and Southampton to Cherbourg. Red funnel operate 37,000 sailings per annum, and carries in excess of 3 million passengers annually.

Today ferry services operate from Southampton going to East Cowes on a Ro-Pax ferry (ferries capable of carrying freight and passengers - travel time 55mins) and West Cowes on a Raptor class fast craft vessel (foot passengers only - travel time 23mins).

On board services are excellent including bars, restaurants, seating, outer deck facilities.
