Spain to Italy freight ferry services
Italy is a country located partly on the European Continent and partly on the Italian Peninsula in Southern Europe. Italian territory not only includes the mainland but also two islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. Italy has a total population of 60.2 million people, making it the sixth most populous country in Europe.
Several ferry routes are offered from Spain to Italy. Grimaldi Lines provide many crossings from Barcelona to Civitavecchia (8 times a week with a 20 hour crossing), Barcelona to Livorno (5 times a week with a 20 hour and 30 minute crossing) and Valencia to Livorno (4 times a week with a 32 hour crossing).
Alternatively, passengers can travel from the port of Barcelona across to Genoa with Grandi Navi Veloci. This service operates 4 times a week and takes approximately 18 hours in total.
