Sweden to Poland freight ferry crossings
Poland is the sixth most populous country in the European Union. It lies in central Europe with the Baltic Sea providing ferry access to the country. Several ferry routes are provided travelling from Sweden to Poland. For passengers travelling from Ystad, Polferries provide a crossing 7 times a week over to Swinoujscie (8 hour journey). Swinoujscie is closely situated by major road networks including the E65 which stretches from Sweden to Greece.
Polferries also offer a service from Nynashamn to Gdansk which takes a total travelling time of 19 hours and operates 12 times a week. Gdansk is one of the largest seaports in the Baltic Sea.
Alternatively, Stena Line provide ferries travelling from Karlskrona to Gdynia. There are 14 sailings a week, with a journey time of 10 hours and 30 minutes. Gdynia port is located on the western coast of Poland and is part of a three-city urban area which also includes Sopot and Gdansk.
