Oban

Oban freight ferry services to the Southern, Outer or Inner Hebrides.

Oban ferry port is within the Argyll and Bute area on the west coast of Scotland. Oban is Gaelic for “The Little Bay” and is known as the “Gateway to the Isles”. Oban is an important port with freight ferries to Castlebay (Barra), Coll, Tiree, Craignure (Mull), Colonsay and Lismore.

A new terminal was opened on Oban in 2005, and the port was upgraded to include a second linkspan in 2007. The terminal includes a large waiting area, refreshment facilities and toilets. Other services are available in the local area.
