We are pleased to inform you that our new ro-ro service, linking the ports of Santander and Zeebrugge, will commence as per week 38 onwards (Monday 17th September).
Two dedicated ro-ro vessels will be deployed on the trade offering two direct sailings per week in both directions.
The sailing schedule reads as follows :

Our modern ro-ro vessels will be able to carry both trailers (either accompanied or unaccompanied), containers, cars, trucks and self-propelled machinery.
By introducing this new service, linking Santander to Zeebrugge, we will be able to serve & support the main industries in south and north Europe, with Zeebrugge acting as a main hub for further shipment to/from the United Kingdom (Purfleet & Killingholme), Ireland (Dublin), Sweden (Göteborg) and Denmark (Esbjerg & Hirtshals).
Seeing the high frequency of sailings on offer to/from above destinations, very attractive lead times and cost efficient transport solutions can be provided, opening up multiple shortsea corridors from and to Spain.
The first sailing from Santander to Zeebrugge will be on Tuesday 18/09/2018 at 23:00 and the first sailing from Zeebrugge to Santander will be on Wednesday 19/09/2018 at 04:00.
The introduction of the new service gives us also the opportunity to enhance the trade between Rotterdam and Leixões, offering now also direct calls, both north- and southbound, without intermediate stops in other ports. This will improve with immediate effect the overall transit time from Leixões to Rotterdam, and vice versa, next to a substantial increase of capacity.
The frequency remains at three sailings per week in both directions i.e. from Rotterdam on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday & from Leixões on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday, operated by our modern CONRO vessels.
Important notice : as a result of the changed set-up some of the vessels on the Iberian trade will need to be repositioned during week 37 & 38. Hence there will be some minor and temporary changes to the sailing schedules during this period which we have tried to keep to an absolute minimum. Further information in regard to the latter will follow upon publishing the sailing schedules for week 37 & 38.
