"The Transport Workers' Union, AKT, has set an overtime ban in the harbours in Finland which is set to start on Wednesday, 1 February. Unless an agreement is reached in the collective agreement negotiations between The Finnish Port Operators Association and AKT there will be no port operations next weekend between Saturday 15:30 and Monday 06:45. This applies to night shifts as well.

If the overtime ban comes into force, the Sunday departure 15:00 from Helsinki to Travemünde will be cancelled, as well as the Monday 02:00 departure from Travemünde to Helsinki. Changes to the timetables of other lines are also expected. This will cause congestion in the ports, which we will do our best to alleviate, within the time constraints. You should be prepared for delays in unloading and loading times.
