Irish Ferries offer a network of five ferry routes linking Ireland with Great Britain and France on routes including Dublin Holyhead, Pembroke Rosslare, Dublin Cherbourg and Rosslare Roscoff.
Owned by the Irish Continental Group, Irish Ferries operates five ferries. These ferries include the Ulysses, which is the largest car ferry to operate on the Irish Sea and formally the largest in the world.The Ulysses operates two round trips daily between Holyhead and Dublin. The fast ferry Jonathan Swift also operates between Dublin and Holyhead and is a suitable alternative ferry to Ireland for vans. The Swift services take just under 2 hours, but only carry vehicles up to 9m or 9 tonne.
In late 2013 Irish Ferries also introduced the Epsilon to the Holyhead Dublin ferry route. It now sails twice a day, four days a week between Wales and Ireland, then at weekends from Dublin to Cherbourg and back.
