Minoan Lines have been part of the Grimaldi Lines group of companies since 2008 but has been offering services in the Adriatic Sea from Venice and Ancona into Patras, Corfu and Igoumenitsa since it was founded in 1972.

Minoan Lines currently have five ferries which sail across routes from Italy to Greece. These are the traditional Ancona to Igoumenitsa and Patras route as well as the newer Trieste route. This links Trieste, in North Eastern Italy, close to the Slovenian border, with Patras and Igoumenitsa three times a week. They also offer a daily ferry service from Greece to Crete linking Pireaus and Heraklion.

On all of Minoan Lines freight ferry routes from Greece to Italy such as Patras Ancona the ferries are large, modern and comfortable. Drivers can enjoy restaurants, bars, casinos and swimming pools.
