Hook of Holland

Freight ferries to England.

Hook of Holland ferry port is in the western Netherlands on the North Sea coast, and the north bank of the Nieuwe Waterweg ship canal. The Hook is a district of Rotterdam, and ferries sail to Harwich and to Killingholme for freight only in the UK. There has been a ferry service operating from the Hook since 1893. In 2010 and 2011 Stena Line introduced new ships onto their Harwich and Killingholme-Hook of Holland ferry routes.

The port at Hook has good facilities for freight drivers including bathroom facilities, a driver's lounge, and a snack service.
