Starting from 1.4.2026, The logistics company must inform Eckerö Line in advance whenever a cargo unit is carrying vehicles.

At the time of booking, the logistics company must declare the conditions for every transported vehicle:

• its power source (combustion engine / electric / hybrid), and
• its condition, including confirmation that there are no leaks, defects, or signs of damage.

If any transported vehicle does not meet the requirements stated in the declaration, the cargo unit will be handled and booked as DG (Dangerous Goods).

Eckerö Line reserves the right to deny boarding to any cargo unit carrying vehicles if the required declaration has not been submitted at the time of booking or before the unit arrives at the harbor.
