Castlebay

Castlebay freight ferries to South Uist and Oban.

The island of Barra is predominantly Gaelic-speaking and is the southernmost inhabited island of the Outer Hebrides.

At the port of Castlebay there is a small waiting room with toilet facilities and shops, and refreshment places on the island itself.
