We need to advise you that both the Riverside and Dockside Terminals at Immingham are experiencing very heavy terminal congestion currently, as a result of the slower collection of Import units, Customs declarations and weather related changes in schedules.

The congestion will worsen at the weekend if the volume of traffic on the quay does not reduce, we therefore urgently need you to assist us by collecting units from the Terminals in order for us to maintain safe and timely vessel operations. It is essential that when dropping an export unit at the Terminal, an Import unit is removed from either of the Terminals.

An imminent consequence of worsening Terminal congestion will lead to vessels not being discharged due to Terminal space limitations and operational delays to vessels and their schedules. We understand the issues you are facing since the end of the transition period, but the slow down in supply chain speed is causing a bottle neck at our terminal, and without a change to the current situation we will have to turn traffic away.
