Due to a high volume of traffic approaching the container terminal in Dunkerque, we suggest the following:

On the motorway A 16 instead of Exit N°53 take Exit N° 54 (hypermarket AUCHAN Grande-synthe / commercial center).

Follow the direction for CAR FERRY / LOON PLAGE on the left hand side just after the commercial centre (follow D601).

After the bridge there is a traffic light on your way, turn to the right, follow the way along the railway (Route de Mardyck), take the next road on the left and drive for another 5 minutes. The ‘Route des Dunes’ is leading to the DFDS ferry terminal.
