"As you are aware we recently launched a new project to build a 1GW electrical interconnector through the Channel Tunnel to provide a transmission link between the UK and France (ElecLink).

Works are progressing and in order to continue the next phase we will need to carry out some occasional overnight activity to be planned at the same time as our standard weekend maintenance on Sunday night/Monday morning.

We therefore inform you that works will take place this weekend resulting in a modified timetable with works finishing slightly later than usual on Monday morning.

We would however like to reassure you that additional departures have been planned as soon as works have been completed in order to minimise the impact on your drivers and trucks."
