We will be making changes to the Customs Declarations Service (CDS) on Saturday 17th December 2022. As a result, you will not be able to validate or embark GMRs with CDS declaration references, between the period specified below:

2 hour Outage on Declarations on Saturday 17th December 2022, 9:30pm to 11:30pm - (Declarations submitted will be held in a queue until the service is resumed).

Traders and hauliers have been asked to submit declarations and complete GMRs with any CDS MRNs/DUCRs before 9:15pm on 17/12/2022 to avoid any delays.

Short Straits Crossings

Given the short nature of the crossings, we are advising carriers on the short straits to temporarily switch off GVMS validation between 9:30pm - 11:30pm. Drivers should be advised not to travel to the IBF, and retrospective validation and embarkation activity undertaken when CDS is back online, after 11:30pm.
