Our Smart Gate Vehicle Visit System is continuously being updated to include even more features and we are happy to announce that the latest development includes a gate in/out photo system enabling our customers to check their unaccompanied unit’s terminal entry or exit photos via our digital freight customer interface Freight Portal. As of today Smart Gate is implemented in Belfast VT4, Dublin, Rotterdam and Karlskrona, with several more ports being installed during 2024.

This new feature will help customers to determine if a damage has occurred to the unit before entering the port or during the trip with one of our ships.

A time-saving feature which will also help driving quality and efficiency.
