Following the new Dutch government requirements for rapid Covid-19 tests directly before departure, we set up a test area at our Terminal in Hull port to enable freight drivers to be tested before they are due to depart. Our tests are fully compliant and certification is issued to the driver upon completion.

We continue with free tests for all freight drivers until 2 February 2021. From Wednesday 3 February 2021 the cost of the test will be £29 and charged to the sea freight invoice.

As you may be aware, the Dutch Government is introducing mandatory proof of negative Covid-19 testing for drivers arriving in NL from the UK, effective from 00:01 CET Tuesday 19/01/2021.

We would like to summarize recent amendments to entry requirements for some of the routes across our network.

UK – FRANCE ROUTES  (ARRIVALS INTO UK)

From 4am on 18th January, all international arrivals, including UK nationals must present a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours prior to departure for entry into the UK. Failure to supply this will result in a £500 fine. Children under 11 & freight drivers are exempt.
