Dunkirk, or commonly referred to as Dunkerque, in the French spelling, ferry port is in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. The port is about 10km from the Belgian border. Currently you can catch a ferry service from Dunkirk to Dover with DFDS Seaways, which operates approximately every 2 hours. At the Dunkirk freight ferry terminal there is a lounge with facilities for drivers, and shops and vending machines.
