Gdynia Port was founded in 1926. The Polish seaport is located on the western coast of Gdansk Bay Baltic sea. The Port of Gdynia is part of the Trojmiasto (Tricity) urban area that also contains Sopot and Gdansk and is the main passenger port for the Three-City area. Ferry crossings are to Hanko in Finland and Karlskrona in Sweden.
