Gedser ferry port is an important location at the southern tip of the Danish island of Falster, and is the southernmost town in Denmark. Scandlines Freight ferries have operated from Gedser to Rostock, Germany, since 1995, currently sailing several times a day. If you sail on the Rostock to Gedser freight ferry route, you can also catch an onward ferry to Sweden via the Helsingor-Helsingborg ferry route.

Gedser port has basic facilities, although there are other facilities in the small town.
