Liepaja ferry port is in western Latvia, and the city is known as “The city where the wind is born”. It is an important ice-free port. There are three main parts to Liepaja port – the Winter harbour which serves small fishing vessels, the main area of the port which can accommodate large ships and ferries and Tosmare harbour which is now used for ship repairs and other commercial purposes. From Liepaja you can catch a ferry to Travemunde in Germany with Stena Line.
