Poole

Freight ferries from the UK to France & Spain

Poole ferry port is located in Dorset on the English Channel Coast, with a large number of freight and passenger ferries calling there. Since the 1970s Poole has become one of Britain’s busiest ports. Poole harbour is one of several places which claim to be the second largest natural harbour in the world. Passenger and freight ferries run regularly from Poole to Cherbourg in France and to Bilbao and Santander in Spain.

Fast ferries to the Channel Islands also operate from Poole, but these are restricted to passengers and very small freight vehicles.
