Rum

Freight ferry services to the Isle of Canna and Mallaig.

Rum ferry port is located on the Isle of Rum (sometimes spelt Rhum) and is the largest of the Small Isles, part of the Inner Hebrides. The only settlement on the island is in the village of Kinloch, from where ferries connect Rum to Mallaig on the mainland. This ferry crossing takes around 1 hour 30 minutes, but visitors are not normally permitted to bring vehicles onto the Small Isles. Ferries from Rum also serve the nearby island of Canna.

There are very limited facilities at the port of Rum, although there are toilets and a small shop around a 20 minute walk away.
