In the first 9 months of 2022, there were more than 1.24 million freight shipments across the Irish Sea.

Of these shipments:

• 51.5% went into Northern Ireland
• 44.5% went into Dublin
• 4% went from South Wales to the Republic of Ireland

Meanwhile, more than 60% of sailings to Northern Ireland went into Belfast, and 49% of all sailings into Ireland went to Dublin.

47% of all traffic into Ireland was carried by Stena Line.
