Following a number of recent reports, we need to issue a reminder to hauliers regarding the responsibilities and expected behaviour of their drivers whilst on board our vessels.

Such reports have included abusive behaviour to our on board colleagues, failure to wear face masks and more worryingly, smoking in cabins.

Smoking whilst on board Brittany Ferries ships is only permitted within designated areas. In particular, smoking in cabins presents a significant fire risk and endangers the safety of other passengers and crew.

Please note that Brittany Ferries reserve the right to impose a 5 year ban on any driver/passenger that chooses to ignore on board regulations.
