Seatruck Update : Congestion at Liverpool and Dublin Terminals
Seatruck's Liverpool and Dublin terminals are currently experiencing severe congestion due to tidal restraints and the recent bank holiday. This has led to temporary closures and long delays. This mornings evening sailings will be primarily utilised to clear onsite backlog, bookings on these sailings will be heavily restricted.
A "drop and collect" policy will be in effect until the situation eases and standby bookings will not be accepted.
Units presented for shipping more than 24 hours in advance of their booked sailing will be declined.
We expect temporary closures in both terminals throughout the next 24 hours, especially from 18:00 this evening. Please take this into account when planning.
Seatruck apologise for the disruption and delays caused. They are doing everything possible to ease the situation but a safe, working terminal is paramount. It is essential to clear heavy backlogs to maintain schedule and ensure the safe working turnaround of vessels.
