During the past few days, a growing truck traffic with illegal immigrants crossing the Adriatic Sea, has been observed, especially on the Venice route.

As you are well aware, our companies, for additional security reasons, have adopted a strict security control process during trucks’ embarkation, in order to track illegal immigrants. The control measures by the Italian Authorities have also been increased.

Despite the tighter measures the problem remains and causes great delays at the departures and arrivals of our vessels.

We, therefore, ask for your kind cooperation in the above issue, in order to avoid delays in the departures of our vessels and consequently problems with your long term planning.
