P&O Ferries Freight Update - We are here to support your freight needs
While we as a business continue to evolve and ensure we are the right size and structure to meet demands of you, our customers, I wanted to reassure you that during this period we are still providing a fully operational freight service. We are very proud to play a vital part in the European supply chain, transporting fresh fruit and vegetables, medicines and other vital supplies to and from the UK every day and together with you to serve the national interest during this extraordinary situation.
We are committed to providing you with a reliable, regular and most importantly safe service across all our routes. We are currently running a fully optimised schedule with a guaranteed capacity and all of our services are fully bookable for both driver accompanied and unaccompanied freight units. In addition, we are able to provide extended storage on quay by prior arrangement. Looking after your drivers always has and always will be our number one priority and we continue to put the right measures in place to ensure the safety of everyone travelling with us.
In order to provide you with full peace of mind, we have established dedicated driver facilities at ports and all drivers on our Liverpool - Dublin, Hull – Zeebrugge, Hull – Europoort, Tilbury – Zeebrugge and Teesport - Zeebrugge routes will have access to single use cabins. We have also put in place extensive social distancing guidelines on board while still maintaining the comfort and service you have come to expect from us. On certain routes we are still supplying packed lunches for drivers to enable them to travel safely onwards.
As ever my team and I are here to support you, so please do contact us anytime if you require any further information.
