What if my booking email says "Standby"?
First of all, don't panic! Our Customer Service Team will be working hard to try and get you a confirmed space.
Standby bookings mean that at that moment in time the sailing is fully booked. This can be quite common on certain routes and space will often become available.
Many standby bookings are not confirmed until the day of travel when the ferry companies start working on what is booked on that sailing.
Our Customer Service Team will keep in touch with you about the status of your booking and if it does look unlikely that we will be unable to secure you a confirmed space then we will speak to you about alternatives.
As per our Terms & Conditions, please note
"6.6 You acknowledge that, in submitting a Booking, there is no guarantee of availability for the Carrier Services in question. In the event of non-availability, whether before or after you have submitted your Booking, we will offer you alternatives, or you reserve the right to cancel and obtain a refund for the Booking you have made. If you request an alternative that is more expensive than the original Booking, you will pay to us the difference, if the alternative is cheaper, you have the right to obtain a credit."
