Condor Ferries have asked us to remind our customers of their Lashing Point Policy.

Currently, all commercial vehicles should have lashing points or rights to allow their deck crew to secure the vehicle for sea transit. Certain lashing point requirements apply to different vehicles:

• Vehicles up to 6 metres and fewer than 10 tonnes should have a minimum of two lashing points.
• Vehicles up to 6 metres and over 10 tonnes should have a minimum of two lashing points on each side.
• Vehicles up to 12 metres and up to 20 tonnes should have a minimum of three lashining points on each side.
• Vehicles up to 14 metres and between 20 and 40 tonnes should have a minimum of four on each side.

Additionally, Condor would like to remind their passengers that from 1st March 2019, all drivers and passengers are required to produce photo ID at check-in on all departures. This must be a drivers licence, passport or other government issued ID that is in date, any expired IDs will not be accepted.
