It may not have all the features that a truck or van driver may need (other more specific apps are available) but for directions, real-time traffic updates, automatic re-routing, offline maps, tolls, different map styles, points of interest and generally useful stuff, you can't beat it. Covering large distances in your truck or van, there's always plenty of different radio stations available over-the-air. Unfortunately, they might not be the one you want to listen to. TuneIn Radio is a streaming app that provides access to over 100,000 AM and FM online radio stations, podcasts and audiobooks. Features include offline listening, Google Voice and Android Wear integration.
Recommended by a number of Trucknet members, TachoGuard is an enhanced digital tachograph app designed for HGV drivers, which keeps you safely within EU rules on drivers' hours by monitoring all driving and rest activities. Features include daily planner, activity summary and configurable activity alert alarms.
Avoid any fines and maximise your driving hours with this advanced tachograph and driving log. Features include support for EU, AETR and GB domestic heavy vehicle fatigue regulations, timers for WTD regulations, graphical countdown, implement advanced rules, alerts and home screen widget.
Recommended for users who might not have a tachograph but would like the functionality (such as van drivers), Tachomaster Worker features the ability analyse your work, breaks and periods of availability.
